Summary
We operate an agile-based software development process encompassing a range of web and mobile direct to consumer tools, as well as enterprise data-driven offerings, all supported by our robust internal tools. We’re looking for someone who wants the challenge of working across multiple types of modern software solutions in this B2B2C world and enjoys guiding product development as much as coaching and mentoring product managers. In this role, you will lead a team of product managers working with agile scrum teams developing these software solutions. In addition to team leadership, you will be expected to contribute directly to key projects through the agile product development lifecycle and act as a part of the core product management leadership team across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
* Build and mentor a world-class Product Management team * Work with the Product executive leadership and business stakeholders to prioritize product features and capabilities * Manage the product roadmap to achieve company goals * Collaborate with engineering to continuously improve product performance * Develop product plans and requirements, and work with engineers to implement key new features and bug fixes * Collaborate with our user experience and marketing team to understand and use analytics to enhance user funnels, user retention and user growth * Manage communications around product launches to key stakeholders within the company * Manage bug backlogs and reports from quality assurance * Identify customer pain points and deliver products, features and enhancements which address their needs * Create preliminary design concepts and work with the user experience and engineering teams to implement and iterate * Analyze performance data and customer feedback to measure the effectiveness of product launches and identify optimizations * Analyze the competitive landscape to identify business opportunities and product optimizations
Ideal Candidate
* Strong technical interest and background * Strong understanding of the agile product development lifecycle * Proficiency in using tools to manage the software development lifecycle * Proficiency in data analysis * Experience in data warehousing, APIs, and other data-driven products * Experience with developing business cases * BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, related field, or equivalent experience * Six years of product management experience, including collaboration with engineers on systems * Excellent time management skills and ability to manage to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
