Summary
Develop, drive social media strategy and offering for Americas with direction from Senior Director, Americas Marcomms Be recognised as a subject matter expert and specialist in the delivery of social media solutions—for the brand and business—and an excellent project manager Effectively manage budgets, drive vendor/agency funded activities, manage supplier relationships as needed Influence culture and fee-earners so social media processes and programs are accepted and adopted Track and analyse activities so results and goals are quantifiable Ensure Senior Director, Americas Marcomms is kept informed and involved (as necessary) with all initiatives
Responsibilities
* Overall Content Curation & Oversight * Create strategy and infrastructure to curate content from across the Americas social platforms and pitch to global * Actively manage all social networks in the Americas through strategy and support for LMA/LOBs * Demonstrate ability to regionalize and localize global social media strategies and support execution * Campaign Initiation & Management * Develop, create and execute regional social campaigns across all relevant networks * Be responsible for generating content applicable to regional or local campaigns * Develop social activation strategy for thought leadership and research content * Program Initiatives & Social Selling * Own key global initiatives at regional level and execute regional initiatives as necessary * Develop, drive and execute an Americas Social Selling strategy in partnership with global and LMA/LOB marketers * Demonstrate ability to execute social initiatives that drive business outcomes * Social Listening & Analytics * Be responsible for developing and executing a social listening and analytics program that benefits regional/local programs * Active Global, Regional & Local Network Participation * Demonstrate active partnership with global and regional social media network and be recognized as a value-add player * Partner with Americas LOB Marketing Directors to develop LOB social strategy and deliverables * Support Americas LMA teams to drive successful/influential local social media offering * Be recognized as the SPOC/SME for all things social media across the U.S., Latin Americas and Canada
Ideal Candidate
Required Knowledge & Skills: Demonstrated ability in delivering results – requires skills of a hands-on marketer, with strategic insight Demonstrated experience in a broad social media role in creative agency, property, financial or professional services Fluent in all aspects of social media: engagement and brand awareness, campaign ideation and management, social selling, social listening, analytics Excellent writing and editing capabilities Client focused, demonstrating ability to provide quality service and advice within social media arena Sound decision making capabilities, demonstrating an ability to create persuasive and compelling recommendations Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organisation with excellent presentation skills Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities Creative thinker with ability to implement regional process in varying Americas Markets Expert knowledge of critical social media networks and platforms Experience & Qualifications A minimum of 4 year-education in a relevant field i.e. marketing, communication, public relations, economics or commerce 5 years+ experience in marketing management
