Our Communication Consulting team objective is to improve participant outcomes through strategic communications in collaboration with our clients and business partners. We have dedicated teams that support different plan sizes and complexities.
Responsibilities
You will be accountable to develop, deliver and manage an effective communication strategy for each of your assigned clients, encompassing DC, DB, NQ retirement plans and related services. We will look to you to: * Establish a trusted partnership with the plan sponsor as part of a consultative service team to meet the client’s objectives and improve their plan for better participant outcomes * Thoroughly understand your assigned client’s business, compensation and benefits strategy, communication philosophy and audience in support of establishing goals and objectives * Regularly interact with executives and high-profile clients exercising your influence to retain and grow our business; Effectively communicate Schwab’s value proposition to senior client contacts * Develop and implement large-scale, complex communication and participant engagement plans in support of client goals and objectives. Leverage change management strategies to influence participant behavior. * Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams and bring the necessary structure to better manage client relationships * Oversee the quality execution of communication plans * Drive thought leadership to maximize the participant experience * Conduct trend analysis and use benchmarking data in communication plan design * Provide input on client sales strategies and participate in the sales process, including attending sales finals and site visits and helping to win the business * Provide input to policy and strategy to advance our business model for servicing highly complex client relationships.
Ideal Candidate
* At least 12 years of industry experience, communication/marketing * Bachelor’s degree * Relevant professional certification desired * Superior consulting skills * Articulate communicator with strong listening and writing skills * Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the business organization * Strong leadership and project management skills * Experience inspiring action and driving results * Collaborative with proven ability to develop internal and external partnerships * High achievement orientation, measures success through quantitative results * Requires up to 50% business travel.
