Summary
We are looking for a Senior Vice President to join our San Francisco Debt team. In this role, the incumbent will learn and understand our organization from the top down and build trusted relationships with leadership with the goal of helping to build proper rules of engagement to drive both short-term and long-term goals for our business. They will lead and support strategic initiatives from infrastructure planning to product and business development and will support key management decisions that help drive growth and profitability. Eastdil Secured has a best-in-class operating model and the individual in this role will be tasked with making it better by providing guidance and insight to business leadership, while challenging them to create operational excellence in pursuit of strategic and business objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives that are larger in scope and complexity and may include: * Finance/operational/executive management review coordination, process improvement and redesign, change management initiatives, and influential input towards key business decisions. * Provide leadership to the firm in the integration and implementation of programs, services and initiatives. * Prepare presentations and other materials for executive leadership reporting. * Learn and understand all sectors of our revenue generating businesses, including; Equity Sales, Financing, Loan Sales, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Retail, Hotel, Multifamily. * Drive operational process improvement across the platform by identifying and documenting potential gaps in process and developing creative solutions to fill them. * Develop metrics and track/evaluate performance of programs, services and initiatives. * Ensure new initiatives adhere to the appropriate policies and regulations. Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of project management experience * 7+ years of commercial real estate experience, brokerage experience, or a combination of both * Other Desired Qualifications * Ability to effectively and professionally interact at a high level with senior management. * Ability to work independently while providing leadership and collaboration within a fast-paced, team environment. * Background or experience in legal, operations, or strategic planning involving multiple disciplines within the organization preferred. * Strong work ethic, ‘can do’ attitude & ability to get things done in complex environment. * Ability to identify process gaps, and then create solutions to drive operational process improvement. * Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused, collaborative, and team environment. * Strong administrative skills – ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. * Strong project management skills. * Team player – ability to interact effectively at all levels inside and outside the firm. * Maturity, good judgment, strong communication skills. * Ability to adapt and function successfully in rapidly changing environment. * Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
