Summary
The position manages North America Professional Diagnostics sales compensation to include the Acute Care Solutions Group, Physicians Diagnostics Group, Public Health Group and Clinical Immunology Group
Responsibilities
* Lead implementation of Xactly web-based (Cloud) sales compensation management system, automating process of calculating and paying sales commissions. * Design and document complex compensation plans and interfaces to enterprise systems, including coordinating and integrating new application with existing systems. * Manage efforts of technical and development teams. Design and develop reports in response to executive management requests for sales performance data, and effectiveness and performance of the plan. * Become the data steward for the ZS project correcting segmentation and Class of trade for account data to feed into the Xactly commission tool. * Develop methodology for accruing sales commissions based on plan performance providing appropriate documentation to the accounting department. * Manage territory alignments through Javelin Territory Manager tool * Prepare sales monthly payment packages and participate in Regional Manager results meetings to assess any changes or further review of salespersons responsibilities are warranted * Manage compensation programs for over 130 sales representatives and account managers * Manage and track SPIFFS and MBO payouts for salesforce **Competencies** * A strong business acumen is required with the ability to advise on sales compensation impact on the business * In-depth understanding of financial analysis techniques and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions of the organization * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and use sound judgment * Technical skills demonstrated using Microsoft Office, Xactly * SQL based commission database and MS Access based commission database skill preferred * Effective planning skills and very strong demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills * Demonstrated ability to strengthen strategic knowledge of businesses and identify opportunities to leverage best practices and ensure decisions are based on overall effectiveness and utility * Ability to present financial data and concepts to management and non-financial resources * Develop and enhance processes and procedures to operate and effectively manage sales reporting
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications, Education and/or Experience** * Bachelor Degree Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field technical degree * 4-5 years of sales compensation/business analysis experience * Sales finance and/or marketing finance experience strongly recommended **Language Skills** * Strong communication skills, oral, written, and interpersonal * Ability to present to management and non-financial resources **Reasoning Ability** * Strong analytic skills, conceptual thinking, ability to analyze and problem solve with incomplete or ambiguous data **Computer Skills** * Advanced proficiency with financial systems and tools (Excel, Access, Xactly) * Demonstrated proficiency managing large modeling efforts involving complex business problems
