Responsibilities
Perform secretarial and administrative duties for Principal or Director-level executives. Perform duties of a highly confidential nature. Leverage intuitive judgment, knowledge, and ability to relieve the Principal of administrative details, including supplying requested information, scheduling appointments, preparing special reports, and obtaining information from sources within or outside of the company. Apply the continuous use of technical and business vocabulary and detailed knowledge of company operations, organizational procedures, and personnel. Make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling work within established guidelines.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** * Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel spreadsheets and common office equipment, including copiers, scanners, projectors, and PC printers * Knowledge of expense management software and conference call systems * Ability to manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements by accepting and declining meetings and appointments on behalf of executives * Ability to coordinate meetings and events, including preparing agendas and logistics, such as room reservations, catering, transportation, and equipment, securing outside presenters, and preparing support materials * Ability to coordinate travel arrangements, including air, car rentals, and hotels and manage special projects * Ability to filter internal and external requests, monitor project and activity status, and ensure matters are brought to conclusion * Ability to routinely interact with all executive direct reports and serve as an effective gatekeeper * Ability to support recruiting efforts and onboarding procedures and apply a considerable amount of initiative, tact, and independent judgment * Ability to obtain a security clearance * AA or AS degree **Additional Qualifications:** * Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills **Clearance:** Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
