Summary
Do you have a passion for finding people who are a perfect fit for your company? Well, BetterCloud is looking for a creative and efficient Talent Acquisition Specialist to hop on board and help find top notch tech talent to help build our product and keep our company growing as a leader in the tech cloud space. The ideal fit is someone with strong sourcing abilities so we can seek out both passive and active candidates for our roles. As our Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for engaging in every step of the process, from innovative recruitment events all the way to the final offer. You’ll work with the HR Manager to brainstorm and seek out rockstar individuals who will fit right in with the BetterCloud family. Because the tech talent market is so competitive in Atlanta, you will need to use your ninja sourcing skills for this role.
Responsibilities
* We are always trying to innovate our recruitment process, so we are looking for someone who has ideas about keeping up with the ever-changing tech world. * We need a talent gatherer who will partner with the HR Manager to anticipate the needs of managers. Most of our recruitment needs fall in Engineering and Quality Assurance so our recruiter needs to have a strong base knowledge of the different technologies we work with. * You must be outgoing and ok with spending time on the phone with candidates. * We’re looking for someone who can add a personal touch to the recruitment process; someone who can make each candidate feel like they’re your top priority. * You’ll be responsible for helping keep the “candidate experience” great for everyone. * We need you to be naturally organized and task oriented because you are responsible for driving the recruitment process from beginning to end. * You’ll be working with everyone from engineering to HR, so you’ve got to be willing and ready to switch gears at the drop of a hat. * You’re going to be the face of our company to our candidates, so you need to be prepared to represent BetterCloud and show off our culture! * We’re making a name for ourselves in the tech space of Atlanta, and you’re the key component in helping us get the word out there, so we need someone who is extremely innovative and outside of the box. * We need you to get candidates in the door, but no one ever said that you shouldn’t have a great time while doing so!
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university * 2 + years of professional experience as a technical sourcer or recruiter * Creative approaches to sourcing candidates * Experience maintaining an organized applicant tracking system (we use Jazz) * Technically savvy (i.e. thorough understanding of what engineers do!) * Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, (start-up experience is a plus) * Proficient with Gmail, Google Docs and Google Calendar * Strong communication skills (both written and verbal; you’ll be screening and emailing candidates)
