Summary
The role of Media Business Manager is an essential role in the Benefitfocus Media Department. Your most important contribution to the team is "supporting the sales process, monitoring revenue, and handling the handoff from sales to production. " This includes managing sales requests, sales training, contracts, revenue recognition, and working with the Marketing team to assist in campaigns and tradeshow. The Media Business Manager also gives studio tours to prospective clients and acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for video products.
Responsibilities
Media Business **Manager Responsibilities** * Acting as primary contact for the Benefitocus Sales team * Training inside sales team (lead gen team) on video product and sales strategy * Providing sales and marketing support, collateral, and solutions * Managing the process and developing new Media Proposals and Contracts * Managing and reporting on Media Revenue and Forecasting (revenue recognition liaison for media/finance) * Presenting on Video products as SME * Researching ‘vender of choice’ opportunities and preparing presentations * Assisting in Request for Purchase (RFP) documents associated with Benefitfocus Media * Monitoring Replicon reports and provide time accounting for Media team * Creating reports and maintaining Media information in Salesforce (Video Sales Metrics) * Managing the intake and delivery of Sales Intro Video requests from Sales team * Research video competitors and maintain a competitive playbook * Act as SME and create proposals for Carrier sales team opportunities * Act as the go-to / SME / for video products Media Business Manager **Primary Deliverables** * Sales support documents including proposals, contracts, marketing materials, presentations and sample reels * Weekly video sales and business metrics * Monthly report on video sales, visible revenue and Replicon * Documentation of sales strategy and competitive playbook Media Business Manager **must be able to:** * Stay current on Benefitfocus products and media production * Create reports pulling data from Salesforce, Replicon and other platforms * Multi-task effectively, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, rapidly changing team * Interact professionally with external and internal clients at all levels * Present products and solutions to small and large groups at all management levels * Represent the Media department at Tradeshows and Conferences
Ideal Candidate
* Excellent project management skills with attention to detail * Experience analyzing requests and drilling down on specific needs * Demonstrated skills in effectively selling video products * Ability to work with Production Manager and media team to assure on time client deliverables * Professional written and verbal communication skills * Strong meeting management and presentation skills * Experience working in Salesforce (creating reports) * Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Media Business Manager reports to the Vice President of Media.
