Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Administrative Assistant to provide support to our Corporate Strategy & Marketing team. Located in San Jose, the position is in a global, industry leading, world class marketing organization. We’re looking for a candidate who has the ability to work productively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment; being flexible and efficient with multiple job requirements/tasks in an interrupt driven environment. The candidate should also be able to maintain poise and be dependable when working under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Administrative support to multiple Directors and their associated teams to include calendaring, travel, document creation, expense reporting, meeting management, etc. - Coordinate and track organization’s budget, travel, training, etc. - Manage group SharePoint sites - Support CSM Executive Administrator for all organization functional events (group meetings, offsite meetings, celebrations, etc.), facilitating communication with in-house and external contacts to ensure success - Proactively seek and implement productivity enhancements for staff and organization - Deliver to challenging schedules and maintain confidentiality of information - Manage special projects as assigned
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years administrative experience in a professional office environment of a mid to large-size company is preferred - Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize projects in a timely manner while working under pressure - Effective written and verbal communication skills with coworkers, clients and customers at all levels. - Excellent partnering skills - Proven mastery of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint - Oracle experience a plus - Experience in using the web as a daily communication and research tool - Interested and competent in using technology to improve work efficiency
