Summary
Do you live and breathe social media tools and marketing and have a passion for metrics? We're searching for a very special social-and community-savvy individual to lead the charge setting social strategy for our rapidly expanding company. Your role would focus on growing (and more importantly) engaging our fan bases across all of our social platforms. You will need to be highly detail-oriented, insanely personable, have a passion for creative marketing and a deep understanding of how to leverage what we can glean from our metrics to drive brand growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high-level strategy across social media channels to achieve audience growth and engagement. - Work closely with marketing teams to identify and implement opportunities and creative solutions for growing our online communities. - Leverage an arsenal of monitoring tools to measure reach, gauge sentiment and identify best practices. - Provide day-to-day management and oversight (think social listening) of social media channels. - Absorb and master the Aspen Heights voice and tone appropriate for engaging our fan base of engaging college students. - Proactively interact with Aspen Heights’ online communities across all major platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Google+, etc.) - Manage a team of onsite community managers, auditing content to ensure it meets Aspen Heights’ publishing standards. - Responsible for the online customer service experience, ensuring online complaints are being handled in conjunction with onsite teams. - Maintain weekly social posting schedule. - Launch high-level campaigns across 60+ platforms. - Responsible for maintaining the Aspen Heights Blog, including contributing original content and managing posts from onsite teams. - Manage social advertising platforms for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. - Report metrics and insights regularly to management and other high-level company stakeholders. - Communicate company-wide social media thought leadership and best practices. - Generate an arsenal of scalable social marketing ideas for each of our markets. - Stay current with industry news in the social sphere to ensure best practices and strategies are up to date.
Ideal Candidate
**Key Characteristics:** - Top-notch communication skills and experience writing for the web; familiarity with addressing a savvy online audience is a plus. - Flexible, adaptive thinker who can quickly get up to speed on new ideas, fill in the gaps and execute. - Aptitude, intelligence, creativity, temperament and drive - Excellent time management skills, self-motivation and ability to engage in some serious multi-tasking. - Proven track record of building audience at other companies or brands. - Must have a deep and abiding love for both people and numbers. **Required/Preferred Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field. - 2+ years of experience in social media management, community management and/or equivalent experience in a marketing or audience development role - Working knowledge of social analytic tools, Sprout Social and Simply Measured a plus.
