Email marketing should be delightful. So, at Asana, we constantly strive to send industry-leading email campaigns that both provide value to teams and support Asana’s business goals. We’re looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to help us drive customer engagement by crafting, deploying, and analyzing email campaigns across our marketing funnel. You’ll own the end-to-end execution of Asana’s marketing emails. Supported by our growing digital marketing team, you’ll own the end-to-end execution of Asana’s marketing emails. You’ll work closely with Content Marketing, Web Development, and Design teams to plan and execute email campaigns. You’ll also provide marketing email expertise and support for teams across the company.
Responsibilities
* Own the email execution process from end to end for campaigns across Asana’s marketing funnel (including onboarding email drips, newsletters, and email subscriptions) * Work with design and web development teams to craft email campaigns that follow best practices * Build lists (from Asana’s user base) for targeted and segmented campaigns * Run A/B test emails to improve top-of-funnel metrics (opens, clicks, etc.) and down-funnel, in-product engagement * Manage our blog email subscription programs (ex: Asana blog and Workstyle subscriptions) * Develop benchmarks, create and share performance reports, and educate other teams about best practices
Ideal Candidate
* You have 1-3 years experience developing, optimizing, and analyzing email campaigns * You’ve used email marketing and marketing automation tools extensively, like Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Constant Contact, and/orSendGrid * You pay attention to details and can execute complex segmentation and dynamic campaigns flawlessly * You’re results-oriented and love analyzing data to evaluate campaign success * You’re a good story-teller, and know how to frame email content to drive a desired action * You stay current with email marketing strategies. You sign up for products just to get a glimpse at their onboarding emails. * BONUS: you’ve got HTML coding skills and you’re not afraid to use them
