Summary
The Inbound Marketing Manager is part of Shutterstock’s global marketing team and is responsible for leading and contributing to projects that drive new customers and revenue growth for Shutterstock’s inside sales and customer service team. We’re searching for an experienced B2B marketer who can effectively identify and upsell customer segments into Shutterstock’s custom plans. This role is responsible for lead generation strategy, and for marketing campaign production, execution, and tracking within Eloqua, Responsys, and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across inbound marketing, marketing automation, user acquisition, and site optimization, with a track record of success. The right person will obsessively focus on growing our customer base through a mix of traditional and non-traditional online marketing approaches and a reliance on data, A/B testing, and optimization. This role supports Shutterstock’s mission and business goals by helping educate our target audience on the value of Shutterstock’s custom plans for small to medium sized businesses, and drives customer acquisition through a variety of channels and strategies. While situated within the marketing department, this role works closely with sales and service leadership and Shutterstock’s business intelligence team.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a robust acquisition and growth plan, working closely with the Enterprise Product Marketing Director, sales leadership, and the CRM team * Lead the strategy, execution, and implementation of marketing automation into Shutterstock’s inside sales and customer service unit * Develop collaborative programs that help find newleads, cross-sell, and nurture existing accounts for the inside sales and customer service team * Partner with Sales Leadership to understand the nature of existing conversion rates, custom product revenue LTV, and time to first sale. * Identify the best channels and content for driving increased conversions and maximum revenue per engagement * Drive increased conversions and maximum revenue per engagement, identify areas for improvement on customer education and conversion * Measurably increase LTV, renewal, loyalty, and customer happiness among customers in contact with the inside sales and customer service team * With sales management, develop reporting frameworks for clear communication with sales and marketing leaders on a global level to share performance trends * Together with sales operations team, define, implement and manage global response processes including activity definition, activity prioritization, definition of response rules, and lead-scoring/re-scoring * Drive process adoption as an outcome by ensuring that processes are integrated into the sales and marketing workflow
Ideal Candidate
* Knowledge of global B2B marketing best practices (acquisition, email, automation, landing page design, content marketing, etc.) * Thrives in a lean work environment – we’re looking to you to lead the charge! * Self-proclaimed data/analytics geek combined with creative thinker who can translate insights into marketing strategies * Experience leveraging Marketing Automation tools (Eloqua preferred) to drive leads through the funnel * Able to work effectively and seamlessly across Sales and Marketing functions * Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a bias towards data informed decision making * Experience marketing to a global customer base (translation, localization, etc.) * Fluent in latest B2B marketing technologies; working knowledge of HTML * Highly organized and detail oriented with proven ability to manage multiple projects and juggle competing priorities and deadlines * Works well under tight deadlines and a constantly changing high-growth environment * Great sense of humor and strong work ethic * Self-motivated and accountable with excellent communication skills * 5+ years of solid experience in sales and marketing operations; 3+ years of experience in building sales and marketing processes within SFDC, Eloqua, Marketo and/or other enterprise sales and marketing systems * Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree preferred
