Responsibilities
* Accomplish and exceed daily, weekly and monthly activity targets and financial goals * Prospecting the market and relevant industry sectors * Cold calling businesses and other methods of lead generation to schedule face to face appointments * Persuasive selling skills to explain the products accurately and relative to prospects needs * Educates clients on new and existing products/services available * Utilizes creativity to meet client needs and expectations through Kudzu's products/services capabilities and/or internet abilities * Calculated and methodical follow up required with potential clients * Strategically coordinate scheduled and travel to optimize client meetings * Analyze client needs and meetings to professionally prepare, submit and present accurate and timely formal proposals and presentations * Closing new business in accordance with individual sales goals * Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented sales environment that allows for collaboration with the Account Support Specialist team in identifying and resolving issues or concerns as well as close client business and execute delivery of product * Expands customer relationships through effective management of program performance * Identifies and qualifies customers with up-sell revenue generating potential * Utilizes sales automation systems to manage day-to-day activities and update management on sales performance through system generated reports * Conuduct all business with the highest of ethical and professional standards * Execute high level of integrity and trust with both internal and external customers
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree * 2+ years Sales/Account Management experience. * Prior New Business Development experience * Proven track record of excellence in sales (hunter and closer) * Experience in preparing business presentations * Strong computer skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, required * Knowledge of Salesforce.com software, preferred * Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication capabilities * Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail * Strong customer service skills * Results-driven and highly accountable * Self-directed, motivated, and with exceptional multi-tasking abilities * Must be able to work independently but also effectively as part of a team * Understands and remains current on all online media products and markets * Must be able to work as a team with Account Executives, marketing, operations, and finance departments with tight turnaround times. * Must take ownership of financial and activity goals as well as retention targets
