Summary
Toyota is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Planner. The Toyota Digital Marketing Planner will help support the Digital Manager in the development, planning and execution of the entire digital portfolio (Toyota.com, Owners site, BuyaToyota.com, mobile apps, SEO). The Digital Marketing Planner will also work closely with Digital Media & Social Departments in the development of content for various digital/social platforms and activities (eg. new vehicle launches, campaign activations, events, etc.). This position involves a significant amount of collaboration with the Toyota Digital Marketing Team, Product Marketing, Parts and Service, Customer Service, TDA’s and regional stakeholders. In addition, this position helps manage internal and external advertising agencies, development partners to implement digital solutions for the company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage digital activities for Buyatotyota.com including but not limited to vehicle launches, regional/TDA enhancements, testing and optimization. - Help guide development and maintenance of online applications, payment estimator, dealer locator, inventory, mobile applications and web services - Manage and execute search engine optimization and meta-tagging strategy for Toyota brand, high priority corporate initiatives (eg. recall campaigns), key marketing initiatives and new and carryover models. - Manage and report on KPI metrics including traffic, leads, conversion and bounce rates - Collaborate with internal/external departments and IS organization to further integrate the vehicle shopping experience across the digital landscape - Help manage advertising agencies and development partners to create digital experiences that are engaging, seamless and intuitive - Collaborate and communicate with regional stakeholders, TDA’s and dealers on future enhancements to the buyatoyota.com site
Ideal Candidate
- BS/BA is required and or relevant work experience 3-5 years of relevant experience in advertising, marketing, consumer insights or digital marketing - Strong critical thinking, strategy development, analytical and quantitative skills - Positive attitude, adaptability, flexibility and strong teamwork orientation are critical - Strong project management skills, with a collaborative approach to project planning and development - Experience in analyzing customer/owner behavior data (shopping, purchasing, ownership, brand awareness/engagement, etc.) and developing strategies to better meet customer needs throughout the vehicle consideration and ownership process - Experience in the development of customer loyalty and satisfaction programs - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects at once - Excellent verbal and written skills are a necessity since clear, concise communication with internal departments, external vendor partners, etc. are critical - Strong persuasion and presentation skills - Working knowledge of various digital communication platforms, including mobile devices, online social networks, blogging, etc. - Familiarity with and strong understanding of social media channels, content management and CRM solutions - Strong knowledge using Microsoft Office and solid experience with analytical tools including Adobe, Google Analytics, etc. **A successful candidate may have**: - MBA preferred - Experience in digital marketing and exposure to and/or strong interest in mobile marketing/analytics is strongly preferred
