Responsibilities
We are actively seeking a Director of Marketing to join our team! The Director of Marketing manages and oversees all advertising, public relations, and marketing aspects of the Firm. Key responsibilities for the Director of Marketing include the following: - Develops and maintains a cohesive Marketing Department team. Supervises workload and performance of Marketing Coordinator, Website Coordinator and Copywriters. - Develops and drives annual strategic marketing plan, in particular with regard to performance and effectiveness. - Manages brand identity and brand promise. - Develops and manages annual marketing budget for three media regions. - Develops and directs creation of all collateral marketing and advertising materials including digital, video, print, radio, television and outdoor. - Manages strategic partnerships including media buyers, advertising agencies and production companies. - Develops, directs, tracks, analyzes, and implements training procedures for best practices and attorney business development. - Coordinates public relations including writing press releases, managing media relationships, working with PR vendors & coordinating media coverage. - Develops and directs digital marketing strategy including SEO, SEM, web sites, blogs and social media presence. - Tracks and reports ROI for marketing programs. Monitors and reports on competitive landscape. - Oversees Firm events and community outreach efforts. - Manages client survey program. - Creates and maintains systems to coordinate and to streamline Firm-wide marketing efforts. - Fosters and promotes a marketing culture throughout the Firm, so that all employees recognize their role as integral members of the marketing team, in terms of individual marketing efforts as well as in support of the Firm’s marketing programs. - Collaborates with firm leadership on projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Masters Degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in advertising and marketing with significant responsibility for design, development, and implementation of media and non-media advertising, client development, and collateral marketing material. - Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience. - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Familiarity with technologies in use at the Firm, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and document management systems. - General understanding of layout and design techniques integral to development and execution of the Firm’s website, newsletter, brochures, and other marketing materials. - Strong understanding of digital marketing.
