Responsibilities
* The primary focus of this position will be in Talent Acquisition for Tishman and the Hunt Construction Group on the West Coast, as we expand! Duties for this addition to our staff include: full life cycle recruiting, including posting, sourcing, interviewing, making recommendations for hiring managers, to onboarding new employees for positions throughout the West Coast operations for the Building Construction business line of AECOM. This will involve working with multiple hiring managers in identifying staffing needs and develop a pipeline of talent in our industry available for a variety of construction projects in LA, San Francisco, San Diego, and other west coast locations as assigned. You will facilitate transfers within other AECOM entities, and conduct internal and external salary equities as needed. Design job descriptions when required, and strive to adhere to KPI's established by AECOM and maximize social media and other recruiting tools. * Own and manage the College Career fair and internship program for the West Coast. * Work with other Talent Acquisition and HR Business partners within the business line on recruitment and sharing of resources. * As the West Coast operations grow, you will take on additional HR responsibilities, such as Employee relations , terminations, exit interviews, and assist with coordinating performance management and training programs. * This person can work remotely on the West Coast, and be available for regular visits to the Building Construction offices (Primarily Los Angeles to start).
Ideal Candidate
* Relevant 4 year degree, and at least 3 years of recruiting experience for exempt and non-exempt positions. * Prior experience in performing research and interpretation of regulations (Federal and State). * Prior experience working with various HR online systems and databases. * Strong Excel skills. * Specific knowledge of CA labor laws. * Possess capacity to operate within or without structures, policies and guidelines, understanding the overall impact decisions may have on employee population and Human Resources practices. * Prior Talent Acquisition experience in the A/E/C industry highly desirable. * Possess strong verbal and written communications skills for dealing with all levels of the organization and conveying information . * Possess eagerness to learn and develop in the field of Human Resources certification programs, association meetings, classes and through active participation in a variety of company-specific Human Resources initiatives.
