Summary
The CRM and Marketing Analyst assists the adidas America CRM and Marketing teams to identify key audiences, engagement strategies, measurements, and insights development that will deliver growth for CRM, loyalty, and digital marketing initiatives. The key contribution of the role is to create better connection and engagement between adidas and consumers using data as the creative inspiration. The Analyst is responsible for bringing data-driven insights to the business to drive innovation, insight, customer satisfaction, and the bottom line.
Responsibilities
* Utilize internal CRM platform and other data sources to analyze data related to customer behavior, lifecycle, and CRM campaigns. * Utilize internal and external digital marketing platforms and other data sources to analyze data related to digital marketing campaign effectiveness. * Develop and manage regular and ad-hoc reporting around marketing and customer analytics and share with internal stakeholders and vendors. * Drive improvements in customer understanding, customer value, and NPS ratings through analysis, recommendations, and input on CRM and loyalty programs. * Drive analysis, recommendations, and input into marketing campaign strategies and campaign evaluation to improve KPIs related to effectiveness measurements. * Use understanding and hands-on work with data, databases, and processes to enable optimal campaign planning, delivery, and effective consumer insights. * Assimilate multiple strands of thinking from across the business (brand and sales) and build recommendations around consumer targeting considering trade-offs between competing business needs. * Deliver interpretation of program, segment, and category analysis and interpretation of campaigns through reporting and presentations of findings. Translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a digestible way. * Capture insight requirements and prepare analytics briefs for global teams and vendors where required. * Brief campaign developers, creative agencies, and adidas content/communications strategists on new initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
**Knowledge Skills and Abilities** * A minimum of 2 years’ experience with SAS, R, or similar analytics software. * Experience with SQL programming. * Experience with complex database environments. * Experience with marketing analytics platforms. Experience with DoubleClick, Adometry, Visual IQ, and similar platforms is a plus. * Experience with web analytics platforms. Experience with Adobe Omniture or Google Analytics a plus. * Proven track record of using data analysis to deliver value to the business. * Ability to translate reporting & campaign results into actionable insights. * Test planning, execution, and analysis experience a must. * Passionate about data and using data to deliver knowledge to the business. * Excellent problem solving skills – able to identify, analyze and propose solutions to various technical and business issues. * Ability to present results and recommendations to people at various levels of the organization. * Strong aptitude and knowledge around data-driven marketing including data interrogation and manipulation skills, campaign management, and analysis tools. * Strong project management skills, including the ability to work on several projects simultaneously. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel. * Action-oriented with the ability to multi-task and discern priorities. * Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and effectively to internal and external clients and vendors, both orally and in writing. * Functional knowledge of digital marketing, marketing attribution, or user experience a plus. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, Marketing, Behavioral Psychology, or related field. * A minimum of 3 years of experience in business or marketing analytics – preferably in apparel or footwear retail. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. * Experience in eCommerce setting strongly preferred. * Knowledge and experience with A/B testing methodology and analysis. * Experience with digital marketing preferred. * Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs preferred. * Experience with Microstrategy or Tableau a plus.
