Summary
The Sr. Auto Direct Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting new borrower acquisition, engagement, and retention programs for the auto product. Through analytics, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration, this person will identify areas for improvement and will drive initiatives to realize those improvements. This individual will work with stakeholders to define and measure performance across the auto channels.
Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end direct marking acquisition channel for the auto product. * Develop and implement direct marketing planning including weekly, monthly and quarterly acquisition budget and forecasting process in collaboration with FP&A. * Develop an intimate understanding of the target audiences, product offerings, competitive set, and market trends and keep stakeholders up-to-date. * Analyze variances between actuals, forecast, and plan, while leveraging internal and external data – use insights to communicate effectiveness of marketing initiatives and provide insights to improve. * Develop and maintain new analytic reports and dashboards to provide regular insight to key marketing leaders within multiple platforms. * Analyze customer behavior and conversion anomalies using web analytics tools, your own analysis, and by working with key members of the marketing, product, and operations teams to identify issues or areas for improvement. * Rapidly develop test/learn/test plans to successfully drive business results using new tactics. * Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews to analyze results and key information * Proactively identify risks and opportunities to forecast. * Develop response models, sales forecasts, data mining procedures, etc. through the use of analytical and statistical tools such as SAS and excel. * Support ad-hoc requests to provide stakeholders with intelligent, actionable insight into the health of the business.
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of experience in Direct Marketing Analytics * Advanced Excel, SQL, SAS data modeling and analysis skills * Experience managing and forecasting direct marketing programs and budgets * Experience in developing reports in Tableau or similar enterprise data warehouse reporting tools * Experience in data modeling or database configuration * Passion for data, reporting, analysis and systems * Prior Auto Finance (or related consumer finance product) * Strong written and verbal ability to communicate ideas through data * Proven ability to work independently and manage day-to-day projects * Get stuff done, we need to move quickly and produce content and programs at a fast rate * Team player, comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders
