Senior Digital Analyst

Grainger is a business-to-business distributor of products used to maintain, repair or operate facilities. * Perform in-depth analysis and insight into key e-metrics, provide recommendations for improving online experience and growing online sales performance. * Develop and maintain web analytics reporting, including weekly dashboards, providing thorough insight into e-commerce business * Develop quantitative analysis and ad-hoc reports to monitor performance and trends. * Mining data from multiple sources, and conducting analysis to produce significant and useful insights into online performance. * Monitor and analyze effectiveness of new features, web site changes, and marketing campaigns * Assist Product Managers and other stakeholders with problem analysis and problem resolution, as well as field data requests * Manage the production and distribution of regular, standard reports.

* Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of experience and education (preferred area of study: Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or other similar fields). * High level of business acumen, with critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills * Functional knowledge of digital marketing (paid search, seo, display, etc.) or online merchandising * Excellent client services and communication skills and ability to present to various teams with different levels of online exposure * Experience with web analytics tools such as IBM Coremetrics or Adobe Omniture or Google Analytics * Experience with Business Objects, SPSS, SAS is a plus * Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, to quickly adapt and learn new technologies to solve business issues. * Strong communication skills to be able to convey technical material in a concise and effective manner. * Excellent interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with internal & external business partners. * Organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills to manage and execute multiple projects concurrently to successful completion, meet deadlines, and follow-up in a timely manner.
