We are currently looking for a talented and driven Sr Accountant for zulily. This position will support financial reporting and consolidation. If you are a proven self-starter who can problem solve on-the-fly, enjoys a dynamic environment, and loves kids and the retail industry, then keep reading!
Organization, attention to detail, and communication are critical to the success of this role.

• Prepare financial statements for internal management reporting, including balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
• Work closely with FP&A on financial package support
• Trial balance preparation, including multi-currency remeasurement, consolidation, and eliminations
• Perform month-end closing activities and account reconciliations that relate to intercompany accounts.
• Support parent company on annual and quarterly reporting submissions for 10K and 10Q SEC filings.
• Provide support for annual stand-alone audit and quarterly reviews performed by internal and independent auditors, in addition to preparation of stand-alone financials.
• Support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls requirements, including updating documentation and policies as required.
• Support SAP accounting system and reporting tools.
• Lead international statutory audit and filing requirements
• Provide support for Ad hoc projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP standards and related pronouncements.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Ecommerce or retail industry background preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, rapidly growing environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative and customer-service work style.
• Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
