Finance Analyst

3M is seeking a Finance Analyst for Electronics Materials Solutions Division located in Maplewood, MN. The person hired for the position of Finance Analyst will be responsible for helping the division meet financial goals as identified in annual operating and strategic plans. The Finance Analyst is an individual contributor that will lead initiatives; train peers and clients; provide insights and establish predictive analytics of financial performance to division leadership.

- Develop & Deliver Targets aligned with Division Financial Targets - Improve ROI for division Capital Investments (AFE-Authorization For Expenditures) - Improve the Financial Impact to P&L and Balance Sheet for relevant LSS projects - Financial reporting, analysis and planning of worldwide manufacturing and supply chain results - Support annual Operating Plan process - Lead annual fixed asset audit timely and accurately - Develop and monitor division’s overall CapEx Strategic Plan and ensure alignment to strategic goals - Develop a process to analyze, improve and track WW tax rate - Leverage information and analysis to influence decision making - Provide insights and establish predictive analytics of financial performance to division leadership - Support compliance with 3M Global Financial Standards (GAAP) - Training of peers and our clients

**Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution - Minimum of three (3) combined years of Finance and/or Accounting experience **Preferred Qualifications:** - Minimum of five (5) combined years of Finance and/or Accounting experience - Demonstrates ability to act as a change agent - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - Considers implications beyond own area across functions, businesses, countries - Sound analytical skills - Solid communication skills - Advanced knowledge of Excel - SAP experience - Advanced degree preferred (ie. MBA) - Advanced certification preferred (ie. CPA, CMA)
