Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and performing specialized and general accounting functions for the North America Shared Services Accounting Department.

* Financial reporting responsibilities, including: * Manage monthly close timeline and deliverables * Oversight of regional reporting deliverables * Analyze legal and management financial results * Reconciliation of complex balance sheet accounts * Preparation of quarterly and year-end audit schedules * Involvement in compliance design and enforcement for Sarbanes-Oxley * Assist in the development of policies, systems, special financial studies of major importance * Complex accounting work on involved projects or issues * Maintain knowledge of US GAAP; research complex matters to ensure compliance with latest accounting standards * Engage in the more critical aspects of Treasury accounting, including, but not limited to Hedge accounting, FX Mark to Market valuations, issuance of new debt and ongoing accounting of debt issuance fees.

* Knowledge of SAP and BFC Consolidations system is a plus * Broad knowledge of US GAAP * Strong Microsoft Excel skills * Strong technical accounting knowledge, analytic skills, high degree of accuracy and ability to multi-task **Education and Experience Profile** * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting * Minimum 6 years’ previous accounting experience * CPA certification required * Previous supervisory experience in an accounting environment desired
