Cost Accountant

• Prepare month end reporting, including account reconciliation, journal entries and financial statements over key cost center accounts
• Work with internal customers and other GL team members to deliver timely and quality accounting services
• Ensure financial compliance with GAAP requirements while compiling financial information, forecasts and budgets
• Design, implement, and maintain current accounting procedures within the department
• Timely and accurate reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis
• Ability to work account across multiple companies and locations within North America

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 2+ years of professional Accounting experience required, ideally in a plant or manufacturing setting
• Advanced Excel skills and SAP knowledge preferred
