Summary
As the IT Recruiter, you will proactively identify, source, and engage passive IT and Analytics candidates while offering a great candidate experience for both active and passive candidates. We are looking for someone who is passionate about online sourcing and IT recruiting.
Responsibilities
* Support the long-term strategic direction and operating objectives of Zoro by identifying, sourcing and attracting highly capable individuals for IT and Analytics. * Develop and maintain a proactive approach to Talent Acquisition requirements for a diverse and geographically dispersed organization. * Research and identify creative sources beyond commercial databases and traditional postings. * Develop research and sourcing processes that effectively meet staffing needs. Partner with corporate staffing to implement new tools and processes. * Assure that staffing practices fully meet the requirements of applicable laws and regulations. * Ensure hiring managers have access to diverse candidates to support the Company's diversity initiatives. * Help develop capabilities that will enhance Zoro’s ability to attract the "best and brightest" candidates. * Develop functional working knowledge of Zoro business strategies across all Zoro business units. * Assist with recruiting for other areas of the business as needed.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree required. * 2+ years of experience in identifying and securing talent for IT and Analytics functions required. * Experience and level of comfort speaking with candidates about various IT and Analytics programs, including but not limited to: C++, Java, Python, R, and SQL * Experience sourcing candidate via online resume databases (Indeed, Careerbuilder, LinkedIn) required. * Experience in social recruiting via Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms preferred. * AIRS certification is a plus. * Demonstrated comfort in working across business functions. * Self-motivated with ability to establish and sustain strong internal customer relationships and external candidate relationships, effectively balancing the needs of each. * • Ability to manage change and influence others in order to reach stated objectives. * Excellent communication and business writing skills. * Ability to determine the appropriate amount of detail gained in research in order to present findings in an accurate, methodical, and concise manner. * Proficiency with Microsoft office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
