Summary
The Marketing Assistant will provide day-to-day assistance with the organization of marketing materials, trade shows and corporate events. This position has potential to grow into a larger role.
Responsibilities
**Marketing Materials:** * Monitor, organize and control inventory of corporate brochures * Update lists of corporate brochures and full line catalog * Order and track inventory of promotional items, includes making recommendations * Organize corporate video library, controlling inventory and updating video list * Register selected new hires with appropriate trade publications **Trade Shows:** * Participate in event planning * Assist with booth layouts * Coordinate product samples – includes contacting customers, receiving, packing, shipping * Update master sample list * Assist in ordering of show services * Coordinating supplies for shows – includes packing/unpacking of brochures, office supplies, giveaways * Assist in making travel arrangements and accommodations **Corporate Events / Customer parties** * Organize and update mailing lists * Track RSVP’s * Assist with ordering of party giveaways
Ideal Candidate
* Three to five years of experience in Administrative role, preferably in a Marketing related position * Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field * Experience organizing and managing large trade shows * Proficient MS Office. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, Autosketch 10. * Social Media skills utilizing Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn * Good organizational skills * Detail oriented, emphasizes accuracy * Highly professional demeanor and attitude * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Steady under pressure
