Summary
The Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist is responsible for the oversight and strategy of all digital marketing (paid and organic) and social media initiatives supporting First American Bank’s marketing programs. In addition, this role assists with identifying business objectives and corresponding search/social solutions resulting in engagement and consideration.
Responsibilities
**Digital Marketing:** * Manage and analyze multiple digital marketing campaigns on Google, MSN/Bing, etc. * Optimize keyword effectiveness and support in planning campaigns and determining budgets. * Collaborate with marketing team members to maximize relevance between SEM campaigns and corporate website. * Develop analytics reporting and present to executive management team. * Identify website performance opportunities to increase traffic to pages using SEO, pay-per-click campaigns and other traffic generators including but not limited to, campaigns within the online and mobile banking platforms. * Work with multiple business units to align organizational sales objectives with SEM campaigns. * Work with marketing team members on email campaigns including writing copy and creating a distribution schedule. * Write and gain approval of executed ad copy. **Social Media Program:** * Continue to grow the organization's social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. * Develop engaging content that aligns with organization's objectives and desired brand. * Monitor and respond to user commentary regarding the bank while coordinating with relevant business units to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of responses. * Monitor news outlets and social media platforms to identify opportunities and trends that could contribute to content. * Develop comprehensive strategies for increasing engagement in social media, including paid media. * Measure the impact and effectiveness of various communication channels and formats using quantitative and qualitative media metrics. * Develop analytics reporting and present to executive management. * Collaborate with marketing team members to maximize relevance between social media campaigns and corporate website. * Work with multiple business units to align organizational sales objectives and social media campaigns. **Compliance:** * Work with Compliance department to ensure all copy and disclosures are correct and coordinate/implement any regulation changes for both search engine marketing and social media efforts. * Ensure all written complaints regarding the organization found in social media channels are documented, reported and responded to appropriately and according to the Complaint Policy. * Maintain Social Media Policy and update as needed. * Keep abreast of regulatory requirements for both social media and search engine marketing and make changes as needed.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related area required. * Minimum of 2 years of digital marketing experience required. * Extensive experience delivering content in multiple formats. * Minimum of 2 years developing and executing strategic social media or content marketing plans experience required. * Experience working with individuals on various topics and developing content. * Experience using analytics to determine the impact and effectiveness of communication channels. * Banking or Financial Services industry a plus. * Strong verbal communication skills. * Excellent writing skills: a sharp knowledge of grammar, usage, and spelling. Familiarity with writing financial related copy. * Strong attention to detail and quality. * Team player with strong organization skills and ability to work independently. * Strategic-minded with a desire to take a hands-on approach to content creation. * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop preferred. * Experience with search engine marketing development and measurement tools. * Experience with social media measurement, monitoring tools, and web content development. * Periodic travel to outside vendors/strategic partners and branch network.

Typical hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
