At Zones, the marketing manager is responsible for the strategic development and the momentum of marketing initiatives to support the acquisition and the development of customers purchasing from Zones. You will team up with the marketing leadership to devise and deploy effective business-to-business (B2B) marketing programs that will support and enable Zones sales professionals in the acquisition of new accounts, development of existing customer relationships, and achievement of sales performance goals.
- Marketing Program Development and Execution : develop compelling and effective programs to support company goals in key segments and lines of business (LOBs)
- Incremental Partner Programs: create, design and implement joint marketing plans and activities with key technology partners. Collaborate with Partner and Program Management teams to identify opportunities, develop strategic plans, tactically execute and track the success of each given initiative
- Subject Matter Expert: as a subject matter expert, provide guidance on the best marketing strategy to embrace in order to reach target segments and LOBs
- Acquisition and Development Program Execution: implement relevant and effective messaging and initiatives to drive Zones brand awareness, ultimately acquiring new customers and developing existing customer relationships for increased share of wallet
- Sales Communication & Enablement: drive the communication of programs and key strategies to the sales teams and provide reps with the tools and programs necessary to acquire and develop customers and achieve their goals
- BA in Marketing or a business related field
- 2+ years required of experience in B2B marketing
- 2+ years required of experience in a marketing leadership position
- Energetic and creative marketing professional with a strong background in B2B and account-based marketing, preferably in the technology field
- Proven portfolio of B2B campaigns and initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze and summarize program return on investment
Technology Focus & Requirements
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with digital marketing, social media marketing and marketing performance metrics preferred
