Assistant General Manager

How can we begin to describe a journey that has been... well, indescribable? It started innocently enough.

The Senior Accountant role will be responsible for the overall general accounting functions for Zaxby’s Franchising, Inc. Key duties may include: journal entries, GL maintenance, intercompany reconciliations, account reconciliations, development of accounting estimates, and allocations. This position will provide expertise in the areas above and provide support the various Zaxby’s entities.

* Assisting in the monthly close process by preparing and posting journal entries in accordance with GAAP * Develop and review various accounting estimates * Responsible for monthly reconciliations of general ledger balance sheet accounts * Assist in the monthly intercompany reconciliation process * Prepare variance analyses (budget/actual) alongside FP&A and communicate to management * Assist with financial audit and other audits as required * Identify internal control or business process issues and inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvements * Collaborate with the various Zaxby’s teams to identify integration priorities and process improvement opportunities

* Must have 1 or more years experience. * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. * Be authorized to work in the United States. * Must have reliable transportation. * Background check required.
