Summary
Generate new business for XO by closing inbound opportunities (with an MRR of less than $3K) and closing business to upsell, upgrade or migrate existing customers to additional strategic products.
Responsibilities
* Attain or exceed monthly sales quota and meet required sales activity levels, including, but not limited to: contacting existing and prospective customers by telephone, acting on opportunities resulting from lead generation, calling on lists, proposal submission and customer appointments, and cold calling as needed to supplement inbound opportunities. * Document all initial and on-going customer contacts in the appropriate databases. Provide accurate and detailed sales forecast of identified and proposed opportunities ensuring sales quota attainment. * Respond to inbound online chat requests from prospects and attempt to close opportunities online or over the phone. * Prepare and present professional proposals specific to customer needs which align to customer’s goals, critical success factors, and strategic vision, ultimately moving the customer toward purchase. Compile sales proposal documents and ensure proper documentation is completed. * Participate in all mandatory and voluntary training programs to enhance knowledge, skills and abilities and maximize performance. Take action to drive personal skill development. * Support the assigned sales team/market in meeting and exceeding its assigned sales quota. * Create, track and manage the ICB (Individual Case Basis) activity for all sales efforts. * Supplement inbound opportunities with telemarketing and email campaigns as needed.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience preferred. * 0-1 years of work experience required, 1+ years of telemarketing or inside sales experience preferred * Basic Computer Skills Required * Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Strong organizational, sales, and relationship skills. * Excellent time management, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills. * Must be able to plan and execute a professional, consultative business meeting with customers. * Must be self-motivated.
