Process Engineer

AEM. Inc. components located in San Diego, CA, has an immediate opening for a Process Engineer.

* Supervision of production thick film operators and technicians * Project and production planning, scheduling, and execution * Coordination of multiple production processes ensuring consistent process flow * Project documentation and procedure maintenance, and updates in accordance with quality management system requirements * Technical support and training of operators as needed * Maintenance of product assembly and raw material inventories * Interaction with multiple departments

* BS degree in a technology field * Ideally minimum 3 years hands on experience in manufacturing environment ideally in thick film processes and technology * General experience with equipment operation, chemical / food processing, electronic component manufacturing, screen printing, conveyor furnaces or production assembly processes * Ideal experience including screen printer setup, wire bonding technology, materials formulations, data interpretation, and process capability analysis * Knowledge of ceramic and metal powders & pastes, organic chemistry, paints, or chemical processing are pluses * General aptitude in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems * Fluent in English, written and verbal * Excellent computer skills such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint; AutoCAD & metrology equipment knowledge are pluses
