Responsibilities
* The Real Estate Investment Consultant serves as contact for the Real Estate Asset Management group within a given territory. They have responsibility to develop new business and provide investment advice and strategy to clients with primary focus being to capture new real estate assets and accounts under management. They provide real estate consultation to Investment and Fiduciary Services and its clients with focus on business expansion. * Cross sells and leverages other SWS solutions to all potential new customers. * Act as advisor to Wealth Management relationship managers, and other specialists who serve as the client’s service team. * Provide clients with solutions to complex real estate problems, will design and structure individual real estate portfolios to meet specific client objectives, provide in depth real estate analytics to ensure client portfolios are managed to achieve maximum investment performance. * May take the lead as necessary on the real estate asset management portion of new client accounts and provide real estate asset management and client service in accordance with the governing instruments, fiduciary laws, bank policies and procedures.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** * 6+ years of real estate, trust and/or fiduciary administration, or investment experience. **Minimum Qualifications** * Thorough working knowledge of the interpretation and practical application of document provisions, probate law, taxes, investments, and the legal framework of trust real estate administration. **Additional Minimum Qualifications** * 5+ years of real estate investment, asset management and sales experience. * Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. * Understanding of Wealth Management and Asset Management industries. * Strong experience with commercial real estate transactions and real estate portfolio management. * Thorough working knowledge of the interpretation and practical application of document provisions, taxes, investments, and the legal framework of real estate administration. * Undergraduate degree **Preferred Qualifications** * Masters in Finance or Real Estate, MBA, or JD * CCIM designation or other similar commercial designation
