Summary
The Talent Management Facilitator is responsible for talent development, leadership development and onboarding for all employees up to and including senior leaders at Vail Resorts. As the first point of contact for employee development, the position will be responsible for providing a high level of service to employees and managers. This position will be a key resource for all leaders, consulting with them in the most effective use of all talent management and talent development programs and processes. This position will also be responsible for the implementation of all employee development programs (NEO, skills, Leadership) on an as needed basis. This position will also be responsible for the continued maintenance and development of enterprise training content. The Talent Management Facilitator is a member of the Talent Management team and reports to the Senior Manager of Talent Management.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the implementation and delivery of employee development programs and talent management processes to all employees up to our senior leaders. Including but not limited to new employee orientation, skills based courses and Leadership Development courses and programs - Provides guidance and coaching to Vail Resorts Leaders in the talent management and talent development processes. Ensures that our leaders understand and utilize the talent management tools and resources available. - Responsible for training administration to ensure that our programs run successfully. This will include training calendar administration, program marketing, facility and materials administration. - Support the development of Vail Resorts enterprise processes and curriculum. Including the maintenance and development of enterprise curriculum. - Monitor metrics to measure impact of development activities as well as other metrics that will measure the effectiveness of the function to the business. - Ensure the successful implementation of regional leadership development programs to all employees up to senior leaders - Evaluates processes, identifies and recommends opportunities for efficiencies, executes recommendations. May participate in company-wide HR process initiatives. - Responsible for expense reporting and budget adherence. - Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree - Five plus (5+) years prior talent development/leadership development training experience, preferably for a large business - Demonstrated experience building and maintaining business relationships, utilizing internal consulting skills - Experience designing enterprise talent development programs - Experience measuring the impact of talent management programs and initiatives - Experience successfully planning and delivering projects, programs and process improvements - Experience successfully leading and implementing change - Strong stakeholder communication skills - Must be able to influence colleagues above and below current level - Strong team player - Organization and project management skills - Learning Management Systems, experienced in MS Office - Excellent communication in English both written and verbal - Must be able to demonstrate strong oral and written communication competence; attention to detail is crucial. - Certification in leadership coaching - Preferred. - Certification in any well known leadership development program (Covey,CCL, Eagles Flight) - Preferred. - Certification in preference evaluations (DiSC, Insights Discovery, MBTI) - Preferred.
