Summary
This position is focused on managing, creating and implementing innovative and contemporary global learning and development solutions to unlock the potential of our people, teams and leaders to ensure business results are maximized. Success in this position requires extensive partnership with Global Business Unit HR teams, Global Talent Development Team and various internal teams across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develops global learning initiatives focused on management and leadership development; Responsible for assessment, identification, creation, delivery and/or sourcing and evaluation of development solutions based on defined needs including but not limited to building Hasbro’s Management Academy, developing curriculum for equipping managers at Hasbro globally, implementing the manager survey, creating a capstone program; identifying creating and/or or sourcing tools/resources and training. - Identifies, selects and evaluates external resources able to design, develop and deliver development solutions. Considers a variety of learning modalities when determining development solutions including traditional classroom, online classroom, self-paced e-Learning modules or a blend of approaches. Manage the delivery of the global foundational programs for front-line and mid-level leaders.Evaluate the impact of development investments using qualitative and quantitative measures and continue to re-invent to align with the evolving needs of the overall organization. - In support of the talent strategy for our current and future leaders, delivers selected development programs such as Inspiring Leadership and High Performance Leadership programs. Works with global talent development team, HRBPs and external vendors on facilitation strategies. Continuously improves and aligns with talent and business priorities; Provide thought leadership; Coaches individuals as an integral component of the leadership development experience using proven coaching methods. Provides summary evaluations on individuals’ performance to HRBPs to feed talent management. Develops and executes marketing and communication plans to educate Hasbro globally on development opportunities. - Manages talent development projects of varying size and scope for global and regional/function needs, including leading project teams. Creates and manages project plans, ensures projects and status are effectively communicated and aligns with talent and business priorities. - Act as a talent consultant to Global HRBPs and the Senior Management Team and Regional/Functional business leaders by identifying solutions to development needs within teams, functions and individuals across the organization. Provide recommendations for approach which may include the design/development of development solutions either internally or through external vendors. - Proactively identifies opportunities to leverage technology to enhance learning opportunities, communication and efficiencies. - Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
**Bachelor's degree required** * 8+ years of progressive, directly related experience, including organization development preferably in dynamic, changing environments * Demonstrated facilitation skills and strong knowledge of Adult Learning Theory, especially as they are applied to management and leadership development programs * Demonstrated success in design, development, delivery and evaluation of development solutions including training and organizational development.Ability to design from scratch and refresh existing curriculum. * Demonstrated success in vendor selection and vendor management; Able to work with vendors/consultant to understand Hasbro culture and needs. * Exceptional consulting skills.Demonstrated ability to uncover needs, recommend options and implement solutions by actively listening and probing for information. * Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with HRBPs, business leaders (up to and including our most senior leaders) and external vendors. * Experience using talent management technologies including performance management systems, Learning management systems, and Talent Review Systems. * Certification in assessment tools such as 360's, MBTI, etc. preferred * Training certification in Situational Leadership II and Inside Out Coaching programs, preferred * Experience designing, delivering and/or sourcing team building/development programs, preferred. **Critical Skill** * Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication * Demonstrates a global mindset ;communicates effectively with a global audience * Ability to implement projects and programs on a global scale * Ability to collaborate and function effectively as a team player * Ability to influence, negotiate and coach up to the senior leader level * Exceptional project management skills * Ability to be flexible and work in a dynamic changing environment * Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and solve problems independently * Proficiency in various Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and has the technical savvy to easily master systems and application; Proficiency in common e-learning tools preferred. Additional preferences include survey tools and virtual conferencing tools. * Strong customer service skills * Strong vendor management experience * Ability to demonstrate Hasbro’s SuccessProfiles – Make Quality Decisions, Achieve Results, Build Relationships, Adapt and Learn, Drive Success with People
