Summary
The Assistant Revenue Manager for Keystone Hospitality is responsible for managing rooms inventory through all booking channels ensuring that the inventory is allocated and restricted properly in order to maximize revenue and profits. Includes optimization of Rooms Inventory. Builds all rates, packages, and hotel sales strategy information in the hotel(s) inventory systems. Maintain rental status of units in the property management system. Assist in report generation to create Budgets, Forecasts, Group Evaluations, Weekly, Monthly reports etc. Cover Revenue Manager duties when required.
Responsibilities
- Manages room authorizations, rates and restrictions. - Utilizes systems and tools to ensure that revenue and profit are maximized. - Serves as an inventory and restriction expert to other revenue management functions. - Ensures that the hotel(s) sales strategies are effectively translated into the inventory systems. - Works closely with all booking channel representatives to ensure maximum use of the channels. - Responsible for understanding competitors pricing through all booking channels. - Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment. - Expert experience with property management, LMS reservations, Tour Partner, systems. - Expert knowledge of Distribution Systems, including extranets, CRO, and GDS. - Strong understanding of the sales process, both group and transient. - Knowledge of Delphi and PMS interface a plus. - Excellent knowledge of hotel room inventory and condo inventory. - Knowledge of Revenue Management concepts, tactics, and processes. - Strong decision making capabilities
Ideal Candidate
- College degree in hospitality management, business, revenue management, accounting, or related field; or equivalent experience - Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality related field - Advanced Excel, PMS (LMS), Extranet, SynXis, Datavision/Cognos, PeopleSoft experience is a plus - Detail oriented on assigned tasks and able to follow through to a conclusion - Team player
