Senior Analyst

- Work directly with hotel management companies and 3rd party providers to source and maintain hotel operating and industry performance data - Develop and maintain revenue management database using company systems and platforms - Develop and maintain analytical tools that provide meaningful insight into hotel and portfolio operating performance, KPIs, and trends - Liaise with Revenue Management team, Asset Managers, and Business Intelligence to identify opportunities to improve revenue and market share performance - Maintain accurate reporting on: booking pace, segmentation, market share, banquet & catering performance, distribution channel mix, and industry trends - Create ad-hoc analysis of property, regional, or portfolio performance as requested Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience - Four year degree is a requirement with a degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or Business Analytics a plus. Emphasis placed on Revenue - Management and statistical analysis - Minimum of one year experience at corporate level Revenue Management or analysis is preferred Must have previous experience in a hotel industry Required Skills - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - Prior experience with data-warehousing and/or business intelligence (e.g. Cognos) systems - Excellent problem solving and analytical skills (mathematical, statistical, quantitative analysis) - Prior experience, education, or understanding of basic hotel finance or revenue management - Self-starter with proven ability to perform concurrent tasks - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Detail oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to work in a team as well as independently
