The VP of Supply Chain oversees strategic planning and quality of the supply chain function including central supply, purchasing, general stores, receiving, supply distribution services, contracting, patient equipment services, value analysis, asset disposal and system integrity.

* Develops company plan for supply chain management with an understanding of the needs to meet local facility requirements * Develops and manages strategic relationships with vendor base * Integrates operational efficiencies and drives these efficiencies through the business units * Reviews and ensures the appropriate financial metrics are monitored and that proper fiscal controls are in place to maximize cost savings throughout the function * Insures suppliers are held accountable for meeting continuous improvement initiatives both from a strategic and tactical perspective including quality improvement, inventory management and cost reduction
