Summary
Automotive News and Crain's Digital Operations team are seeking a Digital Campaign Specialist. This role will be responsible for the accurate and effective fulfillment of advertising campaigns across Automotive News’ digital product offering. This role will interface with advertisers, the Automotive News Digital team along with the Crain's Digital Ad Operations team to ensure accurate campaign delivery and provide client consultation, campaign marketing and reporting.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all digital campaigns are launched on-time, successfully and deliver in full. * Chasing all digital creative and sponsored content assets, internally and externally. * Understanding of brand advertising products and relevant specs, guidelines and business rules; ensuring campaigns adhere to creative, technical, business and legal specifications. * Provide prioritization to the Digital Ad Operations team, based on brand specifications and guidance. * Provide regular updates on the status of all pending advertising campaigns, as well as campaigns in progress, proactively to the Digital team. * Point of contact between the Automotive News advertisers, Automotive News Digital Team and our corporate Digital Ad Operations team. * Oversee production and provide regular reporting for Digital team. * Work with the Automotive News digital team to provide ad hoc campaign reporting and trend requests, outside of the standard pacing and campaign reporting, e.g. view ability, benchmarking against site, benchmarking against industry, etc. * Providing historical reporting and ad server forecasts that inform final impression forecasts/guarantees. * Take point on or participate in the development, implementation and adherence of sound, consistent, scalable and efficient processes for quality digital ad fulfillment; creation and upkeep of documentation. * Partnership with the brand team, understanding their strategy and goals; keeping them apprised of status or issues that could impact their business, providing POVs and SME perspective and expertise as applicable. * Train fellow team members, as needed. * Minimal overnight travel. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of two years digital advertising industry experience; operations preferred. * Experience developing, documenting and rolling out process. * Familiarity with Flash, rich media, video encoding, HTML, HTML5, DHTML, JavaScript * Understanding or experience with digital advertising fulfillment systems a plus. * Proficient personal computer skills including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint. * BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
