Summary
The Sales Trainer thrives in a dynamic and high energy environment. This person is responsible for designing and delivering engaging, effective trainings and educational content to new and existing sales reps.
Responsibilities
* Plan, organize and deliver comprehensive sales training programs to our outside sales reps * Work with training management to identify and address performance issues that affect the overall health of team * Evaluate the effectiveness of training and implement measurements to define success * Ensure the training experience is focused, progressive, innovative, and aligns with the strategic priorities of the business * Identify sales rep performance gaps and coach appropriately * Work with training management & marketing to execute product trainings/style certifications * Develop various learning delivery models to engage the sales learners and to continually improve effectiveness of training and development programs * Evaluate the competency of the new and current sales reps to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training * Transitions new hires to managers after first month of training * Track success rate and ensure new hires are receiving the tools they need throughout first 3 months
Ideal Candidate
* 3-5 years experience in sales training * Experience developing and implementing training programs * Possess a strong customer-centric philosophy - everything we do must enhance the internal and external customer experience * Strong presentation and persuasion skills; excellent organizational skills and focus on delivering projects on time * Ability to collaborate with business partners to identify specific factors beyond training that contribute to changes in performance * Understanding of various e-learning techniques * Experience performing training needs analysis and an understanding of what methods will drive and enhance performance * Experience and thorough understanding of strategic lead generation methodologies, and the ability to apply this knowledge * Experience in retail preferred, but not required * Bachelor’s degree required
