Summary
The Ellucian Inside Sales Associate will serve as part of our team calling into Higher Education Organizations. We are looking for entrepreneurs that bring a high level of energy, are driven, dedicated, problem solver and relationship builder and are interested in providing solutions to improve Higher Education This Inside Sales Associate opportunity is perfect for a candidate who wants to learn the ropes of an Inside Sales Associate position.
Responsibilities
The Inside Sales Associate representative's role is to research accounts. Prospect over the phone and email, Qualify, and build relationships with new and existing customers, including senior-level College and University Administrators at all levels. Be able to establish relationships and commit prospects to learn more. You will be required to learn and become verse in all our solutions, our value and what these solutions represent for Higher Education. In addition you will work with other Inside Sales Representatives in an assigned territory and with the corresponding field counterparts. You will work closely with the Director of Inside Sales and other key team members to ensure you gain a good perspective of the Inside Sales Associate role, experience and results. You will record all activities in Salesforce.com and reporting results on a weekly basis for accountability of assigned projects.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree * Transferable sales skills from retail, customer service or other relevant positions. * A professional yet friendly customer service attitude that will enhance the candidate's ability to perform well and grow within a Higher Education Company * A conscientious, highly motivated self-starter, who is detailed-oriented and committed to make a difference in Higher Education * A strategic thinker and possesses effective time management skills that focus on long-term success. * Entrepreneur mindset and self-driven. * Team player and a winning attitude.Desirable but not required: * Previous Inside sales/Lead Generation Expertise in software technology company would be a strong advantage. * Experience with Higher Education institutions desirable.
