Summary
The Business Development Manager, Data is responsible for expanding participation for TravelClick’s Demand360 and ensuring new participants are active in the product in a timely manner. The Demand Data Acquisition Manager is responsible for growing Demand360 participation in the Americas by working with the field to sign small brands and independents. The manager will be responsible for working directly with key business stakeholders, IT development, and sales to deploy the solution. The manager will be engaged through the solution delivery lifecycle, working with customers to identify optimal solution approaches for customers; analyzing the impact of changes in requirements, and providing business need mentorship to the technical team. The manager will also provide subject matter expertise, assist in the deployment and use of the solution, and support the customer’s day-to-day service needs when appropriate.
Responsibilities
* Maintain expert level of knowledge on TravelClick BI products from the client perspective * Maintain high level of understanding of common support issues and stay current on select product stability and critical issues * Identify new business opportunities individually and/or partnering with the respective RDOS and DOS * Continually analyze sales pipeline to identify key opportunities and provide the necessary sales support to close key deals * Coordinate sales support needs for closing key opportunities, including product demos * Coordinate development of strategies for improving sales performance * Work with customers post on-boarding to make sure they understand the product, know how to use it, and understand nuances of the data
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum Bachelor’s degree * Minimum 3-5 years of direct revenue B2B enterprise business development experience with proven performance in new customer acquisition space * Accurate and comprehensive account planning and sales forecasting experience * Results oriented individual who is able to establish a rapport with sales personnel via the phone and in person to develop opportunities for revenue expansion within their accounts * Excellent communication skills * Fluency in languages in addition to English is a plus
