Summary
You will drive the success of Skuid by closing net-new business from large accounts across a myriad of industries. As a consultative sales professional, you will help solve the business needs of prospects and customers by aligning customer needs and objectives with Skuid solution(s). You will direct all large-account opportunities and customers in your territory, coordinate resources and manage the sales campaign across the entire opportunity pipeline, including both pre and post-sales support resources. You will consistently exceed your personal Goal Achievement Plan and the Company Plan. You will report to the Director of Sales. The Account Executive team is responsible for all customers and opportunities across the Skuid business. As part of this team, you will play a vital role, handling all different kinds of sales scenarios and ultimately closing opportunities. You will turn as many opportunities into closed-won deals as possible. Once an opportunity has been closed, your job will be to help manage the initial phases of post-sales support and ensure implementation is set up accordingly.
Responsibilities
* Exceed projected revenue goals in the assigned territory/geography. * Land new logo customers for Skuid offerings by fulfilling client needs. * Expand the Skuid footprint within current customer accounts through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. * Add prospects to the Skuid Customer Reference Program * Handle all prospect and customer objections and justify their investments in Skuid solution(s). * Closely manage sales pipeline using Skuid and Salesforce resources. * Proactively prospect for net-new customers. * Follow up on leads provided by Marketing and Inside Sales in a timely manner. * Manage opportunities leveraging key sales tools such as Opportunity Plans, JEPs and Org Charts. * Negotiate and close as many sales campaigns as possible. **Additional:** * Collaborate with peers and management around ways to continually improve the sales organization. * Identify customer needs and effectively understand and respond to customer objections. * Connect client’s business objectives with Skuid offerings and solutions. * Provide guidance on customer and prospect corporate strategic initiatives. * Provide expertise around particular areas of interest to discuss industry best practices and development of high level strategies. * Assist the customer in maximizing the return of their investment with Skuid. * Build and expand relationships with Economic Buyer in prospect and customer accounts. * Establish yourself as a Trusted Advisor to the prospect or customer
Ideal Candidate
* Experience closing enterprise deals at Fortune 100 companies * Ability to crisply deliver value propositions at an executive level * Excellent objection handling and negotiating abilities * Strong collaboration skills and ability to work alongside multiple team members * Strong time-management and organization skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * International business development experience(s) a plus * Selling of SaaS solutions a plus * Knowledge of Salesforce.com * Outstanding interpersonal skills, customer service and communication, in person, over the phone, and through online means (social networks, emails, blogs, etc.) * Track record of integrity, humility and ability to develop relationships of trust * Self-starter who can multi-task, with strong worth ethic * Quality and detail-oriented, with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies * BA from four-year college or university
