Summary
The Data and Operations Manager leads and executes critical business processes across all stakeholder surveys, with a particular focus on Insight - and is vital to our team’s success. This person oversees the collection of accurate and timely data necessary to successfully administer all surveys and generate valuable reports to our clients while coordinating detailed work across multiple workstreams and simultaneous project timelines. The Data and Operations Manager is responsible for building and maintaining the tools and resources necessary to support accurate data collection and works closely with the technology team to operate and develop our internal data storage and reporting platform. This requires extraordinary attention to detail - particularly when compiling data – and exceptional organizational and strategic prioritization skills to ensure we are implementing the work to the highest caliber possible while simultaneously managing large and growing volumes of data.
Responsibilities
* Lead the administration workstream on the stakeholder survey team: * Design, execute and improve operations and processes to collect, compile and maintain survey and other essential data * Maintain and document accurate data records to ensure integrity and quality and to support other workstreams and clients * Lead the technical aspects of survey administration by becoming an expert in our technology platforms – working closely with our software development team to identify problems and enhancements that improve efficiency and quality * Codify the norms and standards that support the collection of consistent data and provide guidance to teams / clients on its application * Develop and maintain resources that enable client leads and internal TNTP teams to plan and administer Insight successfully * Revisit existing processes and operations and identify opportunities for improvement and in particular to make work more efficient **Launch and manage stakeholder survey administration:** * Oversee and plan for multiple, often overlapping, project timelines for survey administration simultaneously while ensuring that clients are able to receive quality data when it is useful to them * Collect and manage teacher and school level information that support survey administration * Manage all processes associated with setting up, administering, and closing down Insight surveys for all clients within TNTP’s own proprietary administration and reporting system and external survey platform * Monitor response rates and develop strategies to increase participation * Connect with school / network / district leaders to obtain information necessary to administer the survey and support teacher participation across campuses **Engage clients and provide quality customer service:** * Maintain a strong client service orientation and skill set – ability to respond to questions, and troubleshoot as needed * Execute recruitment efforts to encourage additional schools nationally to participate in Insight * Respond to questions from external stakeholders about the surveys * Collect feedback from clients and users in order to continuously improve our services and meet the needs of schools, networks, and districts * Provide general operational support for the stakeholder survey team: * Lead the planning / logistics for ad-hoc events for both internal and external Insight users * Compile summary data after each survey cycle and annually to maintain accurate historical records of key outcomes * Gather feedback from internal and external users to advise and improve our services * Lead and execute other projects, as needed

You’ll regularly interact with stakeholders, motivating them to make incremental change and take quantum leaps. **Qualifications** * Excellent project management and organizational skills * Ability to strategically prioritize work to support team and organization goals * Strong technical and computer skills including database management, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Extraordinary attention to detail, and a commitment to producing consistently high-quality work * Comfort and an interest in working with large data sets and databases * Strong customer service, communication and writing skills * Enthusiasm for generating and testing creative solutions to challenges * The ability to learn quickly, work in a fast paced environment, and multi-task effectively * Ability to analyze current systems and processes and identify potential improvements * Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity * The ability to work effectively with others at all levels of an organization and to consistently display a high level of professionalism in all interactions * Experience with a survey platform (Survey Gizmo, Survey Monkey, etc.) and/or managing surveys is preferred
