Responsibilities
* Serve as senior staff member within the Performance Government business unit, working on management consulting and information technology engagements primarily for state and local public sector entities. * These activities include business analysis, system requirements definition, financial analysis and deliverable creation. * Additionally, responsible for supporting pre-sales activities by contributing to proposal development, presentations and other business development functions. It is expected that this individual will perform at a high level in regards to their consulting abilities, along with possessing the skills necessary to help develop other staff members that may be new to the firm or the government practice. * Approximately 30% travel will be a part of this role as we continue to grow our Midwest markets.
Ideal Candidate
* Governmental management consulting and/or information technology consulting experience for government entities required. * Consulting services in this area require a strong government industry background, analytical skills, writing skills (business, technical, and report writing), presentation skills, and project management capabilities. * Quick learner, possess good communication skills, able to meet deadlines, have a strong client service orientation. * Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. * Strong analytical skills. * Strong organizational skills. * Candidate should have the ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion. * High comfort level and capacity to learn new technology. * Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred * Minimum of 2 years of government experience * PMP or CAPM certification from Project Management Institute is preferred * Advanced level of proficiency using core Microsoft tools, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio
