Summary
This is a fast-paced position in the marketing group of a fast-growing company. The Creative Specialist works with the Senior Creative Manager, CMO and practice area leaders to provide support across all aspects of creative, design and general marketing (trafficking jobs, website, materials, private-label, CRM reconciliation, production, etc.
Responsibilities
* Provide coordination and marketing/project coordination support for the Sr Creative Manager, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) as well as the rest of the Marketing team * Development and tracking of project timeline for all program deliverables for private-label branding initiatives; facilitate the workflow process and collaborate with customers, sales and legal to coordinate all moving parts adhering to process * Serve as Print-On-Demand (POD) lead to provide Marketing materials for Sales Representatives, Maintains marketing collateral library by checking and replenishing inventory and fulfilling orders * Maintain stock of select office marketing collateral (including brochures, proposal language, client list, awards, and accolades) * Arranges for vendor services for design, printing, photography, ad placement, merchandise and other services * Supports production center needs and monitors supplies and maintenance for the production machines, including project production * Prepares marketing “kits” as needed * Support Marketing team in refining operational processes and procedures * Budget management – track creative expenditures and report timely budget status for itemized areas for cost avoidance, estimates and reconciliation * Proactively monitor and update website content with current and old content requirements * Coordinate electronic distribution and digital library maintenance of marketing collateral and operational forms, as required and on a monthly basis to sales and account management teams * Work with internal and external customers in handling incoming calls and requests through an email box for department and responds to questions and/or requests in a professional manner * Work with Sr Manager and CMO on special creative projects as assigned * Manage promotional products selection with Aspire’s external promotional products vendor * Perform other duties as assigned by management
Ideal Candidate
**Required Skills/Experience:** **Education** • Required: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree Marketing or related field **Work Experience** • Required: 3-6 years’ experience in a Marketing department • Must have experience working in a corporate, business-to-business setting. Experience in the financial services industry a plus **Competencies** • Database Management – Ability to manage content and inventory database, update and retrieve language and documentation • Detail Oriented – Ability to be well organized and resourceful, has the ability to reduce a complex concept or task into something that is manageable and clearly interpreted. is able to get things done with less and in less time; can work on multiple tasks at once without losing track; foresees and plan around obstacles • Time Management – Ability to manage one's own time and the time of others • Organizational Skills – Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects • Flexibility – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Project Management – Ability to bring projects to completion eliciting the collaborations of interdepartmental team members • Plan for contingencies – Ability to proactively identify potential problems and create contingency plans or “work-arounds” to implement if problems occur • Recognize business priorities – Ability to track the changing needs and expectations of potential customers. Identifies links between internal demands and external needs • Computer skills – Possess intermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite Knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), basic understanding of HTML for campaigns, familiarity with social media channels • Communicating Effectively – Expert-level ability to edit, write and present effectively; adjusts to fit the audience and the message; strongly gets a message across • Team Player – Ability to manage strong working relationships within the company. Able to complete tasks and work cooperatively with others • Adaptability - Ability to respond and adapt to changing circumstances and to manage, solve problems and provide solutions in a climate of ambiguity
