Summary
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the accounts payable process assigned, with full ownership of, and emphasis on, all aspects of the global expense reimbursement process and company purchasing card process. Primary responsibilities are high volume auditing of expense reports in Americas, communicating with all employees relating to expense reimbursement, managing the timely processing and reimbursement of all expense reports, continuous improvement of the expense reimbursement process and system, and general oversight of global expense reimbursement process. In addition, this role will be managing all corporate purchasing card purchases and reviewing all purchases for proper support and coding. The position also requires continuous interaction with other members of A/P, A/R, General Ledger, Payroll, and similar functions in foreign subsidiaries in order to obtain all information necessary to fulfill the responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Administer the Concur T&E system to ensure efficient workflow for expense reimbursement * Conduct audit of expense reports in Americas to ensure compliance with the Company’s T&E policy * Handle employee inquiries, researching, and following up to resolve issues * Coordinate with third-party and subsidiary accounting functions to ensure compliance with applicable T&E policy * Manage all corporate purchasing card expenses and review all purchases for proper support and coding * Voucher all corporate card transactions on a monthly basis * Assist with AP duties such as but not limited to scanning, coding, vouchering, attaching, routing, and filing invoices * Assist with audit inquiries * Ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum one year of prior with Concur experience * NetSuite experience not required but recommended * Proficient PC skills and strong Excel skills * Strong commitment to producing quality work; ensuring work is delivered completely, accurately, and on time * Ability to effectively organize and prioritize activities and perform under strict deadlines * Strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills * Self-motivated and self-directed with a flexible and collaborative style * Energetic, dependable, and problem solver who is able to handle challenges * Thrives in a fast paced, and client focused environment **Education and/or Additional Experience:** BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related field
