Junior Finance Analyst

Ogilvy & Mather is looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join our Internal Audit and Compliance team. You will assist with the SOX compliance function of the team, collecting, reviewing, and analyzing audit related documentation, performing audits of accounts payable and employee expense reports, and participating in ad-hoc audit and compliance projects. * Perform expense report audits as well as spend analysis * Perform Accounts Payable audits and other internal audit tasks * Review documents pre-during-and-post SOX audit cycles * Coordinate with the operating companies on scheduling audits * Responsible for timely collection of audit related documents from the operating companies * Participate in Ad Hoc internal audit and compliance projects as assigned

* A positive outlook and imagination. * Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or a similar, related field of study. * 1-2 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience. * Accounting knowledge of balance sheets, A/P, A/R, P&Ls, auditing principles, etc. A thorough understanding of accounting principles is crucial for success in this role. * Strong analytical skills. * Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent experience with MS Office, especially Excel. Creating and using complicated spreadsheets are part of everyday work, so the ideal candidate should be very computer adept and a fast learner of new applications.
