Summary
The Financial Systems Analyst will be primarily responsible for maintaining our financial systems integration, assisting with the month end close, and supporting the financial reporting process. We are looking for someone ambitious who wants to continue growing his/her accounting and finance career, as there are numerous opportunities for development in this role.
Responsibilities
* Support Chartboost’s use of NetSuite in the financial reporting and accounting processes, including automated procedures as previously defined * Ensure NetSuite functionality with other systems or vendors including, but not limited to, Salesforce, Tipalti, Concur, AmEx, PayPal, or internally developed software * Work with the Product, Engineering and Data Science teams to ensure proper data collection to support reporting and analysis * Evaluate and define financial processes and systems to meet user requirements and provide analytical tools to the finance team * Participate in problem solving, systems and process improvement activities and metrics * Identify process challenges and implement appropriate corrections or enhancements with associated training of the teams * Assist with month-end close activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules * Assist the accounting/finance team in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes * Assist with creating and documenting processes, procedures, and controls * Assist with the annual audit process including both the readiness and execution, including preparation of supporting audit schedules * Serve as a backup on month end duties assigned to other team members * Assist finance team with ad-hoc projects
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance * Strong understanding of accounting and GAAP knowledge * At least four years experience; prior Big 4 audit experience strongly desired * CPA strongly desired * Excellent written and oral communication skills and a willingness to be proactive in contacting people and learning * Strong attention to detail and advanced MS Excel skills are required * Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume and collaborative environment * Ability to work and communicate as a team but own your tasks with minimal supervision * Startup experience a plus
