Summary
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic People Operations (HR) Generalist to support our Salt Lake office. This role will be a go to dedicated resource for all things HR for these areas of the business to engage, develop and retain team members. The primary focus will be employee relations and team member engagement/culture. The role will work closely with the People Business Partner for the office along with department leaders to provide support and insight from the People perspective and to further the team initiative to drive business results through people.
Responsibilities
* Be a trusted resource to leaders and team members in our SLC office * Support team members and leaders in performance management, from coaching and feedback to promotion and termination * Onboarding and offboarding for the SLC office * Navigate and resolve employee relations concerns appropriately and timely * Answer questions or concerns regarding topics like benefits, policies, etc. * Get to know the team members, team dynamics, leaders, and the business, to develop their trust in you and the People team * Identify opportunities to better support the business based on the department needs, strengths and weaknesses * Use influence and coaching to cultivate a culture that reflects our core values * Participate in building and improving various People team programs and initiatives * Some travel to our San Francisco office will be needed periodically
Ideal Candidate
**What you will need to be successful** * 5+ years of HR Generalist experience * A high level of tact and emotional intelligence * Embody our company culture and values * Knowledge of HR compliance and employment law * Ability to build strong relationships with people across all levels of the organization * Proven ability to diagnose problems using critical thinking skills and identify and drive appropriate solutions * Effective verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and manage multiple projects at once from start to finish **Bonus Points** * PHR/SPHR certification * HRIS implementation * Previous tech start-up experience * Previous experience working in a fast paced environment * Experience supporting diverse teams
