Summary
The Inside Sales Manager position will build an inside sales team to support the growth initiatives of Tennant’s North Americas business unit. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the inside sales team and support the lead generation process.
Responsibilities
* Build and manage a team of inside sales specialists that exceeds lead and sales goals * Ensure the sales pipeline remains full with qualified leads and prospects for field sales representatives * Monitor employee productivity and motivate team to reach daily call goals * Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure sales program's success across teams and departments throughout the company * Manages all employees of the Inside Sales department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the department. * Develop successful working relationships and collaborate with marketing, field sales, customer service, etc. to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns and offerings * Identify revenue programs and facilitate finance, legal and sales practices * Oversee resource planning, reporting, territories, incentives and communications for the assigned team * Participate in client interactions to ensure cross-training, customer satisfaction and management involvement regularly
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field; 5-7 years’ experience managing an Inside Sales team; familiarity with sales process and selling methodology; working knowledge of the most current technologies, products and processes used in the industry; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a self-directed, fast paced environment.
