About TEAGUE
Founded in 1926 by design pioneer Walter Dorwin Teague, TEAGUE is the original design consultancy. As proof, our portfolio spans many firsts: the Polaroid camera, the UPS truck, Texaco-branded service stations, the Pringles canister, and the Xbox.
Summary
The Talent Acquisition Director is responsible for architecting and executing talent solutions by fostering a culture that ensures we align the right people with the right opportunities. The position will also shape our talent and internal mobility philosophies and practices and provide effective consultation and delivery of strategic people solutions.
Responsibilities
You are a strategic thought partner and skilled diplomat with sensational people skills and a firm grasp of what it takes to find and retain talent in this day and age. You have a reputation for building and maintaining relationships with people of different backgrounds and are skilled at anticipating, assessing, and mitigating people risks. As the Talent Acquisition Director, you will manage TEAGUE’s full-cycle talent acquisition process by developing and deploying effective sourcing methods using a variety of channels. You will identify and select assessment tools to ensure candidate qualification match, cultural fit, and compatibility and ensure a high-quality end-to-end experience for candidates and hiring managers. You are an excellent big-picture thinker—able to develop and communicate a clear vision for talent acquisition and ensure that TEAGUE is hiring for future needs—as well as a detail-oriented tactical player capable of setting clear performance expectations and accountability; improving on and managing the internal mobility program; and deploying strong analytical skills to define targeted metrics and drivers. You are a born team player—you’re a great communicator; a superb morale-builder; a positive thinker; and naturally inclined to find solutions when facing a challenge. You’re equally good at drafting written communications, policies, and presentations and are adept at targeting your tone to fit your audience. You are gifted at resolving conflicts and helping teams to juggle competing priorities. You’re keen to establish and maintain talent market expertise and like to stay on top of industry trends and the competitive landscape. The prospect of getting to inform and involve others by conducting training, hosting events, and writing thought pieces about the recruiting process excites you. So… If you roll with creative folks, enjoy building something new every day, have a sense of humor, and are exhilarated by the prospect of putting your expertise to work in a fast-moving environment, then we’d love to speak with you.
